“Thank God for Dr. Balter in September & October of 2008!!!!!!! I presented to the Suburban Hospital ER with minutes to live! I had a Strept Throat Infection that went Septic, turned into Lethal Sepsis & spiraled me down into Delerium towards " That Big Bright Light "! I was given 3 Antibiotics & I was Allergic to ALL of them (Vancomycin, CeFazolin ( Ancef ) & Gentamycin!!! In the ICU, Dr. Balter was summoned to come in on my case because he Specialized in Infectious Diseases. He said the others were TOO STRONG for me. Eventually, Thank God, he found 1 that worked well, I believe it was Zyvox or Daptomycin. After my Blood Cultures kept coming back Negative, I was allowed to return Home after 40 days. Dr. Balter kept me on that Antibiotic for 6 more Weeks just to be Safe becauae I had a Super Germ that I didn't need coming back for routine visits! I remember that Emotional Day that he called me & said he wanted to see me in his office. I went down there & heard what Id been hoping for, "The Infection is ALL gone!!!" I WOULD HAPPILY RECOMMEND DR. LAURENCE BALTER TO ANYONE NEEDING AN INFECTION DOCTOR THAT WILL HELP YOU OUT INSTEAD OF HARM YOU ANY FURTHER!!!”
