Best local bike /hike trail
Great place for mountain biking, hiking, and canoe and kayak, had a great time. Beautiful place, close to Frederick, Maryland and DC! Will go back .
Easy trail. Well marked and maintained. We saw several does and a fawn off to the side of the trail. For hikers, look out for bikers. They can quickly overtake you from ahead or behind with little warning.
Quiet relaxing day on the lake! This place has adequate parking and decent space to launch a kayak. I didn't see a proper boat ramp but I saw lots of boats on the water so there must be one somewhere. I really like this place because you can always find a quiet spot to fish. ENJO!
Easy to access trail with great and nice variation of view of lake and trees. Not necessarily challenging with gradual up and down with several tight turns throughout trails. Reasonably well maintained. Trail's width is just for single bike so watch out for group of people coming toward you and some people with no etiquette going downhill without slowing down expecting you to yield while you are climbing up.
