Dr Mahmood was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He sat down to talk with both my husband and I, and never seemed rushed. He took the time to explain his plan of care, and answer all our questions.

Dr. Mahmood is awesome! He will walk you through every step and answer all questions you may have all while making you feel comfortable. His knowledge is above all the rest. I wouldn’t want any other doctor to get me through my cancer ordeal.

If you are in need of an oncologist, Dr. Syed Mahmood would be my suggestion!! I was diagnosed last May with Stage 4 esophageal cancer… my world turned upside down and it was time to make some decisions. I was given a list of oncologists to consider and I had no idea what I was doing. I turned to my ex-wife, an RN to look into the suggestions for me!! She read all of their information and suggested Dr. Mahmood to me, his education background, his young age and his experience. The others were probably great too, just more ‘old school’! Our first consult with him told me we made the right decision! He was the sweetest, most compassionate doctor that I’ve ever met, he cried with us, he explained things to us, he gave us so many options!!! He got me thru my first bout with this disease! Unfortunately after 4 months of being cancer free, it found its way back!! This man is still by our side fighting with us, keeping me positive and presenting many new options as we progress!!
