Anita Garcia Violin Studio

As a former student of Anita Garcia, I can say that she is a diligent and thoughtful teacher! Ms. Garcia utilizes every minute of a lesson and ensures that you learned something from what she’s been saying( wether it’s simply about counting or how to make your sound smooth). When I attended her studio, I was a junior in high school. I wanted to go to college for violin performance however, I needed a lot of assistance in order to reach my dreams as a violinist. After working diligently under Ms.Garcia, I was ready for auditions and got into The Hartt School of music with scholarship. I really appreciate what she has done to get me prepared for college.

Ms. Garcia Is such a great teacher! After not having a private teacher, Ms. Garcia was able to help me prepare for college auditions and push the ability of my playing. I got accepted into all music schools I applied to with really good scholarships. She’s very thorough in feedback and provides a variety of methods in order to improve playing. She is indeed the very best teacher I’ve worked with and I couldn’t be anymore grateful to work with her.
