“Arrived here for Breakfast about 5 minutes before they opened. When they opened the counter lady, Bette, was extremely warm and welcoming with a big authentic smile and good morning in a beautiful French accent. I had the Croque Madame which was excellent. I looked at the pastries but the croissants looked very very dark and I don't like my croissant to get flakes all over me so I did not try. The coffee was delicious and the atmosphere warm and friendly and inviting. They had gentle jazz music playing in the background and everyone I saw eating had big smiles on their faces.”

“Staff is very professional and caring. The facility is old but everyone does their best. The food is good. Gertie, the head of the kitchen staff, asks everyone staying in the facility about their food preferences, what each person likes and dislikes. Gertie will even accommodate special requests wherever possible, such as extras coffee with breakfast and yogurt with each meal. The nurses are very good, and make certain that each patient receives the pain killers, antibiotics, or Epilepsy meds prescribed for them by the doctors The facility’s weak point is it’s physical therapy. I have been here for over a year and I am still stuck in bed and I want to be able to at least transfer to a wheelchair. If you are ambulatory and can walk or wheel yourself into Physical Therapy, I suppose the PT here might be adequate.”
