I'm not a Christian and from a single visit (as guest singer) I can't speak to or about the congregation; but the facility itself is gorgeous and high-tech. A marvelous place to make music in.
Love this church and its preschool! We moved to the area from out of state and were recommended to try this church. We loved it so much that we decided to send our children to its preschool. LOVE the preschool. All of the teachers are loving and knowledgeable, the parents and students are all treated with respect. Church services are very good, even if you don’t come from a Lutheran background. Very welcoming church, we immediately felt at home here. I really appreciate the diversity of the church body, too. Very blessed to have found a great church home and preschool for our 3 children!!
I have been a member of this church since I was born (55 years ago). I was baptized, confirmed and married here. After I got married I moved away and tried to find another church. No luck. All the churches I tried were so unfriendly. No one welcomed me, as a newcomer, like we do at St. Andrew. So I would drive the 40 miles to attend when I could. Thankfully my husband and I moved closer and made it a lot easier. St. Andrew has been a family to me with it's uplifting support, awesome programs and fantastic pastors. If you are looking for a church, search no more!
Several years ago I was searching for a church that would engage my middle school and high school age children. The first Sunday I attended The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew I felt embraced by the entire church community. Pastor Hricko's sermon was inspiring and delivered in a way that even my kids were able to discuss it later that evening at dinner. If you are looking for a church home that your entire family can relate to I would highly recommend you attend a service here. The pastors are wonderful preachers helping you explore your faith in a compassionate manner. The education ministry has something for every age group from preschoolers to high school age and beyond. I am so glad I decided to step through the doors and see what this wonderful church had to offer. I would encourage you to do the same.
I've been to many churches in my time and this has been the friendliest and best community I've found so far. The Lutheran service is familiar enough for comfort and interesting enough to hold my attention. The preaching is excellent and I get so much out of hearing the pastors speak. The music ministry is VERY good and the extracurricular activities and groups are insightful, thoughtful, and well run. This is a wonderful place for those searching for a home church.
