Lucky for me I'm Michele's brother. Once for two days I could barely move after I strained my back really bad. Michele had me up and walking virtually without pain within an hour, and gave me a regimen of stretches that helped me recover and avoid recurrence. Michele knows her muscle groups, and their trigger points, and is able to quickly identify the muscle that is knotted. She took the time to assess underlying skeletal abnormalities that require muscles to compensate, such as uneven leg length.

She walks through home exercises that will give the most benefit, makes sure I'm doing them correctly, and offers alternative stretches when they aggravate unintended areas. I was at the point where I was unable to function without a great deal of pain but after 4 sessions and doing home exercises as prescribed, I feel much better. It took years for my muscles to reach this stage of aggravation so I understand that it will take time to repair them and unlearn bad habits like sitting too long.

Michele Macomber was the only one who could help me move my neck again after years of intermittent spasms. I appreciated her science background and mindset and how she explained what muscle groups were involved and how things work.
