I just want to say that the staff here at Patuxent River rehab and health center have been very kind supportive and very patient with me. There has never been a team that has been as cooperative with patients as this facility has been. Thank you kindly team who has shown such care and has been there in my time of need. I Betty Anderson would like to say I choose this rehab facility and you would like it too.
Most of the negative comments about this rehab center seem to be the sameones voiced against the rehab where I previously stayed. The previous rehab was rated at 2.3. This rehab was rated at 2.6. The difference is astonishing in favor of this rehab Due to inaction by the previous rehab I was kept there for 88 days due to their inability to arrange outside doctor appointments. The current rehab is keeping me only 19 days. I am very satisfied with the care I have received here. There were no questions about my insurance as there was at the other place. Everything appears to be working as expected. I'll be going home in a few days after being away from home for more than three and a half months. I should have been home after two months but because of issues with the previous rehab I was kept away for more than a three and a half months !
Excellent experience in rehab section. Great nursing care, physical therapy and occupational therapy. They brought me from not being able to walk to being able to walk out of there and back home. Food was well planned and for the most part was good. GNAs were very caring and supporting. I would recommend this rehab for anyone needing these services. Thank you to everyone who participated in my Rehabilitation.
