This store must be first on your list if shopping for a used piano! Purchased a Kawai upright 52in from them and it was a great experience. Piano movers delivered it quickly and professionally and it arrived without a scratch. Rick and his team were extremely helpful and yet not intrusive. I played many of their pianos (including a Steinway D🤩) for several hours uninterrupted, except when they asked if I want coffee which was very nice! Prices are excellent considering that all their pianos are in great condition and many haven’t been overplayed by all appearances. Give this place a visit if you’re piano shopping.. you will not regret it!

You guys. Rick and he’s team were such a pleasure to get to know! Their store policies can’t be beat, and the prices seem very fair! We just moved to the DC area and we had to trade in our grand for an upright because our living room was too small. I will always get my pianos through this company from now on. Just received delivery of a "new to me" used Kawai 49" upright from Rick Jones. Their website is one of the most comprehensive online for used pianos, with a description, video of the piano being played, multiple pictures, dimensions, model and year. I was impressed when I toured the vast warehouse. I had done some research and had narrowed my potential selection down to 4 uprights. Jeremy played several of the pianos so I could step back and listen. Sophia offered to place one piano on a 24 hr hold for me, which I did. I decided a day later, based on our home's heating system that purchasing a climate control system would be the way to go. Kathleen processed that purchase via telephone for me the next day. We got our free Rick Jones T shirts by mail and waited for our scheduled delivery. The company called ahead the night before to pinpoint delivery in a 2 hr time frame, and arrived on time. The crew was careful and professional. The only glitch was they left without starting up the climate control system. No worries, I called Sophia and was connected to a technician who walked us through turning it on, filling the tank, and voila we were ready to enjoy our purchase. Beautiful refurbished Pianos, back to tip top shape! We almost bought an Everett made in the 70s because it sounded so beautiful. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they encourage you take your time and play every key in the warehouse. Rick is so friendly and the epitome of a great small business. Their warrantee, trade up program and quality of pianos are things you can't miss out on whether you're looking for a starter piano (like us) or an elegant grand piano.
