  Take my dogs walking here. There is a nice five Mile loop or shorter trails. Usually pretty quiet, for now!

  Fantastic place for camping or vanning. Lots of space, can be a bit tricky to find your assigned lot but it's a really quiet and peaceful place. There are men and women restrooms, each one heated with a spacious and private shower, which really came in handy. Each lot has a grill and firewood, and the grounds are monitored by park rangers and a campground host. There are trails for hiking, and the metro and shopping/food are close by as well. We paid $20 a night for 3 nights. I highly recommend.

  Great place for a quiet walk or jog on perimeter trail. This National Park has a year-round camp ranger station, ground, picnic areas, playground and an open grassy area for outdoor games.

  I forgot to take a picture, but it's a great place to camp with family if visiting DC on a budget. There are some things to consider, the road noise is audible and if you are close to the restrooms you will see light through your tent. If you are car camping make sure to reserve a site on the internal camp spots to avoid high slopes.
