Great Scott Moving

Super late review but I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!! Easy to work with, great prices, and very professional! We actually had a bit of a pet crisis during the move. My cats escaped the room they were locked in and the movers were helpful in trying to herd them. All my new bedroom wood furniture arrived perfect (in addition to everything else!). They were wonderful and I plan on using them again soon!!!

I had a great experience with my move with Great Scott Moving. The quote was easy to get, and a good value. The movers were on time (early even!!), and everything was easy. There was absolutely nothing damaged - not even a scratch. Highly recommend Great Scott Moving!

Absolutely fantastic. They have moved myself and members of my family over five times in the last 20 years in this area. Every time they are careful courteous and quick. They pack carefully they move carefully and they work efficiently. They have handled very small moves of a few furniture and they’ve handled entire house moves involving over five bedrooms and three levels.

Absolutely stellar move! Easy to get a quote, great prices. Everyone, from the admin staff to the movers, were polite, efficient and responsive. I had pick up in DC, then a drop off in NJ and another one in NY. The whole operation went flawlessly. The movers were very careful with my possessions. I just had to move after spending 5 years in the same location, and decided to spring for using a moving company for the first time. After researching all the options in the DC metro area, I decided to go with Great Scott, and I'm glad I did.

Can't say enough about how positive the experience was. Providing information to get a quote and then scheduling a time for the move was easy, even with it being on a weekend. Movers arrived on time, and were fast, efficient, careful, professional, and very diligent about making sure every item was moved exactly where we wanted it to in the new location. Everything arrived in pristine condition, down to the most delicate dishes in our fragile boxes.

When all was said and done, the final bill came in near the low end of the range I was quoted--always love when things feel like a fair, straightforward transaction in that regard. If I needed to move again, I'd call Great Scott back up in a heartbeat! Will definitely recommend them to friends and family as well.
