  This is an Emergency Room. They are dealing with all sorts of people with all kinds of injuries and illnesses. Yes you will wait a little bit however, the staff at this hospital is incredibly kind, and is dedicated to providing the best care for the patients. The security here has a sense of humor and treats people with respect. The nurses, and the doctors truly listen to the patients and based off labs, will help you get to your better self.
  A little patience goes a long way.

  What else can i say but wow! I mean under the circumstances i am completely impressed with this hospital..i have never encountered such a professional and caring staff of doctors and nurses in my life..they are going above and beyond to make my wife as comfortable as possible...from the bottom of my heart...Thank You !!

  4 stars for making a difficult situation tolerable. The whole thing only took about 4 hours, which was better than I expected. The staff were competent and empathetic and really attentive, often redundantly so, which is fine. I think that might be an effort to respond to older complaints in the reviews below. I think those complaints might be excessive; It's ER, it's never going to be a good experience, but I think UCHealth is doing a reasonable job with what they have.
  1 star removed for the surprising difficulty in getting water provided. The request for water kept getting 'approved' and delegated out to someone else and then finally one person I asked made an 'oh!' face and left and immediately came back with water. This is funny after the fact, but it was annoying at the time.
  Advice to management: streamline communication within your team.
