The classical approach was a new concept to us but it has shown what kids are really capable of if they are taught in such a way that pulls from their natural strengths. The work is challenging but fun and the teachers love what they do and the kids they get to teach. The community that is fostered there through their daily devotions, school events, recess, lunches, and classroom size has built such a confidence in our daughter that may have been lost in a larger public school setting. “I can't say enough good things about Shore Side. We recently had some work done on our bathroom and dealing with other contractors made me realize just how unique Shore Side's business model is. The whole process was smooth considering I had a hard time making choices, but Lou patiently assisted in that process and made realistic recommendations within our budget. We had wood floors put on our main level and stairs, and matching luxury vinyl plank installed in our lower level. Will and his crew were wonderful craftsmen, punctual, and very hardworking. When it started pouring, they simply put up a tent for their saws and calming went about their business. When they left each day, they cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was spotless. When we weren't 100% happy with how narrow and unsafe our old stairs seemed (not really Shore Side's fault since that's apparently the way they were built in the 1970s), they worked with us to pick out carpeting for a stair runner and even had a matching 8 x 10 rug and landing/door mat bound for us. James (their expert carpet installer) was also wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. Vinny and Ryan (owners) were very responsive and made sure we were happy with the finished product. They returned calls promptly, showed up on time for appointments, and didn't try to gouge us on pricing. They dealt with us fairly and honestly, and worked as a team to ensure our happiness with our floors. Only when dealing with other contractors did I realize this is generally not the case in the home improvement industry. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend Shore Side to anyone considering updating their floors! We plan to use them again in the future when we move on to re-carpeting the bedrooms.”

However the owner of this school was nice enough to drive not only me to my airplane by my girlfriend and I to Hemingway's restaurant. I got into flying for the people and the community.
