“I visited my uncle here a few weeks ago. The security is great! I was so touched when I walked through the doors to see the walls decorated with military emblems, logos and awards. I was so honored to see a structure with a sign that says, "REAL HEROS DON'T WEAR CAPES, THEY WEAR DOG TAGS." This is truth in its highest form! I am proud of our veterans and grateful for Charlotte Hall for caring for our veterans. I had the chance to interact with the staff during my visits with my uncle and they are kind, so helpful and caring. Had some conversations with the residents and they are grateful as well. Both Dr. Hao and his entire staff are friendly and attentive as well. The wait is never long, my son always goes back within a couple of minutes after arriving. “I can't thank the crew at Cord's Cabinets enough for my beautiful new kitchen . From beginning to end it was a perfect job . My visitors can't believe the gorgeous new kitchen that I have . It was a magic transformation.! When I walked in the door the receptionist, Maggie, greeted me as though I was a friend .My designer , Karen Babcock, worked with me to achieve all the details that I wanted including a baking center ,pull out spice cabinets ,Glass door cabinets over the Coffee and Wine Center and a huge island with pull out drawers. The installers ,Ken , Dave and Zach were meticulous.Thank you to the whole gang at Cords!”

“Only me and my dad's favorite place to go on a Saturday. Tells everything for sale there's a lot of people to talk to there's food for sale and it's just a nice country setting to walk about and enjoy yourself in they are restaurants nearby and if you get a moment there is a church nearby if you need prayer I recommend to church is non-denominational and the pastor cares for you his name is Pastor Morales and the church name is encounter Christian Center if you get a moment stop by or if not just know if you need a place of worship that is a place to go and God will bless you for it.”

“This is solid, old-school diner/restaurant that is delightful to know still exists. The attraction for us was southern Maryland stuffed ham available for breakfast. Stuffed ham is unique to southern Maryland and there are slight variations between Charles and St Mary's counties. It is a large ham, stuffed with greens, typically kale, and spiced with mustard, pepper, etc.. The ham is boiled, traditionally and the greens stuffing is layered within the ham by stuffing it in pockets cut in the ham. Sounds unusual but I guarantee its tastiness. This place has large rooms for catering and a full service bar.”
