  Is well worth the visit! Thanks It is not just one museum as we had thought but a collection of museums and a lighthouse that had been moved to the museum grounds. The lighthouse is really special as you can walk up the spiral staircase inside and they have the living quarters and personal belongings of the person that manned the lighthouse just as they had been long ago.
  
  The museums are fantastic with many old wooden fishing & crabbing boats with a short description on the history of each. There are many other very interesting artifacts from the fishing and crabbing days on the Chesapeake Bay and a real working boatyard where you can actually see wooden boats being built.
  
  If you are in Annapolis there is a ferry from Annapolis to the museum. If you are visiting the Chesapeake Bay area you do not want to miss this museum & lighthouse.

  great museum, nice to walk around the property. Light house allows you to go in and walk around and see how the employees lived. Worth a stop, even on a cold February day.

  This place was awesome! I regret that I didn’t plan to spend more than about an hour here. Definitely worth a visit.

  Was a great visit. Have a significant number of exhibits in about a dozen buildings, including a bay lighthouse on the property. You can get a very good picture of life on the bay and living in a small town serving bay industries.

  I was invited on a tour of the bay. I did not know what to expect, but it was great! I got a lot of history and education from the captain. The gift shop is worthy of the visit also. The staff was calming and welcoming. I enjoyed my afternoon outing.
