  Been banking here for at least ten years, since it was still Susquehanna! Great and friendly staff, clean offices, never too busy, always so helpful and especially relative to where I live in Baltimore where all the staff at my most local branch are a complete nightmare to deal with. I don't think I will ever close my account here and I will always be a patron unless BB&T imposes really annoying corporate nightmares to get through and jump through a million hoops. I am no hula hooper and it is not my job to deal with these nightmare automated machine voices and rarely, if ever, an actual live representative! Thank you Boonsboro BB&T for everything. :)

BB&T is now charging $12 a month for it's customers who don't have direct deposit. I have currently have 3 accounts at BB&T. That's $36 a month. Absurd. But since I have everything online banking and auto draft I've just dealt with it. But that hateful, surly teller today was the last straw. Planters Bank has FREE checking with no minimum balance.
