  My seven and nine-year-old grandsons took a surfing lesson and the instructors were amazing. They had the boys riding in waves within minutes. They gave them instructions and safety tips before they got in ocean. They stayed one-on-one with them the entire time. I can't say enough good things about the school. And the instructors really seemed to enjoy what they do.

  I am a beginner and have been surfing a few times prior to going for a lesson. Fantastic experience! I learned SO much from them, even with the knowledge I already had. Whether you want to learn more and how to catch more waves, or just want to check surfing off your bucket list, these guys are who you want to help.
  Very friendly and quick! They even have a photographer who takes great photos!

  Super fun lesson, these guys take great care of you no matter your skill level. They really do have it down to a science--Highly recommend!

  I'd be very surprised if these guys ever get anything but 5 star reviews. Never surfed before, bought a "surf" SUP last winter. I"m stable on flat water, and can go up to a couple minutes in the waves without falling - but no where near up to riding waves. Saw the sign in front of K-Coast for SUP and Surf lessons. Called and talked to the owner Brian, he gave me some good advice I wouldn't have guessed on my own. Mainly - if you wanna surf waves on an SUP, you need to already know how to do each on their own, before combining the hobbies. He recommended surf lessons. Registered for the next morning 830-1000a class. As a 39 year old, I assumed I'd be the old guy among kids/tweens/teens. The rest of the class was probably between 9-12, with one other dad. Made me regret not bringing my 8 year old. I think its called a group lesson, but from what I could tell, each person had their own designated instructor. Chris was my instructor. He was great. Patient , positive and very encouraging. I was standing by my second or third attempt, and rode many more. Once I got pretty consistent with my pop-up, he told me when to start paddling - to catch the waves unassisted (in the beginning, they give you a push to get you into the wave). I caught at least 5 unassisted.
  
  Damn I wish I brought my kid. And damn I wish I had started this 20 years ago!

  Great people! Great instructors! My daughters and I went to an evening class and loved it. The instructors were so nice and patient. They had me and my older daughter surfing half way through the lesson. My younger daughter was a little apprehensive but they worked with her and she did great. I highly recommend the wave riding school.
