  I’d never really thought about acupuncture as something I’d want or need. I’ve been pretty fortunate in my life when it comes to my physical - musculoskeletal - health. But when I started dealing with major anxiety / depression issues - triggered by a life situation - a friend in NYC recommended I try it. And thankfully, another friend in lower Delaware led me to Mary Beth. I’ve seen her a dozen times in the last four months...and she’s definitely been a part of my recovery. She’s intuitive, kind and just a wonderful person. And so good at what she does. I’m just beginning to fully understand how the discipline of acupuncture works, but I do know that seeing her has helped me turn a page. It’s not a magic bullet or an instant cure - but it works. It somehow calms the system and alters the mood - in a positive way. I can’t say enough good things about her or her practice.
