“It’s been a very long time since I have found a marine service company with the responsiveness, knowledge and attention to detail as Peake Marine. Usually, a mariner is lucky to get any response at all from a marine mechanic…unless they are already their client. Peake took me on as a new client with an unusual older boat that I couldn’t get anyone to even touch prior to these guys. They have repaired my exhaust elbow and even offered to source a replacement part should it be necessary in the future…on a 55 year old boat. They completed the install of 800watts of solar, repaired an old original spot light that hasn’t worked in years, performed maintenance on both of my carburetors and performed a lot of electrical troubleshooting. Lee has been performing this work for me and was on the boat on a particularly hot day so he turned on my newly installed air conditioner (installed by a different mechanic). He noticed right away that the AC panel box was extremely hot and found that the electrical was installed improperly. I was notified immediately and I gave the green light to make the repairs…which he completed within 24 hours. Lee probably prevented my boat from catching fire! I highly recommend Peake Marine. I still have a list of items that I want completed and Peake is where I am going to have each item taken care of!”
