“Dr. Henry is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Quality, caring, invested pain management doctors are RARE. Prior to finding Dr. Henry Achampong’s practice 8 years ago, I had gone to two other pain management practices, both of which would basically just hand you an opioid prescription and say “see you in a month”. They never seemed to care, and the only thing they were ever worried about was prescribing more medication. Dr. Henry truly cares about his patients. Just for me personally, he has always gone above and beyond, he is very invested and is always doing research and looking at every alternative option instead of just prescribing pills. I had a spinal cord injury in 2020 and was in a wheelchair and was told I would never walk again. Dr. Henry took the time to do a lot of research and read a lot of clinical studies and actually found things that would help to repair the spinal cord damage and I am happy to tell you that today, three years later I can walk most of the time, only requiring my wheelchair for long distances. I recommend him to everyone that asks for a PM recommendation and I truly just can’t say enough good things about him. In the eight years I have been seeing him, I have lived in a couple different places, one of which was over two hours away from his office, but I still always made sure to make the drive because I do not think he is replaceable.”
