Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises

We had such a great time on our trip. We sailed out at the 1:30pm session and the weather was perfect. Definitely arrive an hour before departure to get the best parking spots and to be lined up to have the best choices of where to sit on the boat. I also recommend bringing a hoodie as the wind picks up over the water, especially when the captain kicks the boat into high gear to sail far out into the ocean. The crew were all very accommodating and did a great job of checking in with everyone throughout the trip. They also did a great job at rotating the boat so all sides got great views of the Whales, Dolphins, Sharks, and everything else we saw. While they mention that they do carry pills for motion sickness in their briefing, I recommend taking some before hand just to be safe. Barf bags were also passed out just in case if you need them. Food is available on board. Bring any snacks and water, it's a 4hr trip so you'll be far out there away from shore.

We went to the 9am time in August and it was AMAZING! The staff were nice and the researcher on the intercom was knowledgeable and instructive on where to look in the water. The captain kept spotting different activity in the water with his binoculars so we got to see over 5 different areas. Humpback whales, dolphins, 2-3 other types of whales I believe and a sunfish! Luckily the weather that am was rainy so the boat was only half full but it turned out to be perfect weather! Food and drink bar was nice to have as your on there for about 4 hours. Definitely worth the money and would go again.

Great cruise. My cell phone pics and videos don't do it justice but we are guaranteed to see whales. We saw whales jump 3x out of the water! Beautiful sunset cruise. Bring a sweater and I would recommend not wearing a dress on this day 😅 a little windy and can get cold with the wind. Loved this and highly recommend.

This was the BEST experience!!! We got to the marina early and were able to pick our spot on the boat (very front). If you need to sit, this isn't the place....But it was a perfect place to see everything!! And while it seemed like it took a long time to get to the whales, once we were there, we saw SO many!! I would recommend this to ANYONE who hasn't been Whale Watching!!

What an unbelievable day! We had the best time from start to finish. My 3 year old loved it. The guides, captains, helpers were wonderful. Snacks and drinks on board as well. We were so impressed. Book it! We saw 18 total whales and followed them the whole time. We were never not looking at a pod of whales and learning such cool facts about them. I teared up seeing the whales so close we could hear them making noise. What a great day! And free for military!
