Nice local museum with a good variety of exhibits. The aquarium in particular is very nice for a museum of this size.
It's fairly small and mostly geared to kids, but it's good enough to keep the adults entertained as well. The $15/adult price is a bit high if you are visiting without kids, as you can get through the whole thing in about an hour. But if the price doesn't bother you it's well worth the visit.
Such beautiful beautiful structure outside. The museum has a lot to see and learn. It is huge inside with paintings, artifacts and culture.
Fine regional museum. Aquarium exhibits in lower level. History and art included. Stuff for kids too. Exhibits are well done.
We went to a funny and educational show today starring Captain Nemo. Fun for all ages. Then we visited the Nautilus exhibit. Great fun for all the kids there. I wish we had more time to see everything in the museum.
Well thought out neighborhood museum. Good for spending an hour or two with kids. Has little sections across a wide variety of topics - animal bones, dioramas, minerals, mounted animals and birds, an aquarium in the basement, art, activity rooms for kids.
I felt the price of $15 per adult was slightly on the higher side given the size of the museum, but the location may be the factor here.
