(September 10, 2019, 1:47 pm)Just wanted to begin by saying that I'm not a relative or a friend of Paul's, the owner of Greenlight Auto Sales. We were out looking for a first car for our daughter and we stopped in to look at a car she saw driving by. We took the car for a drive and everything seem to work good except the check engine light was on. Paul said it was probably just an O2 sensor. I told Paul that I would like to have my mechanic look at the car, and he said that it would be fine to do so. Paul told me that my mechanic was welcome to use his lift in his garage and tools if needed to inspect the vehicle. (I have purchased many many cars over the years, and no dealership has ever offered the use of its shop, tools, or lift to my mechanic.) So I scheduled a time to have my mechanic inspect it and my mechanic said that Paul was very accommodating and helpful during this inspection. My mechanic said the vehicle was in very good condition and just needed O2 sensor/check engine light issue dealt with. We went ahead and purchased the vehicle, and Paul told us he would fix the issue so car could get an inspection sticker. Without going into loads of unnecessary detail, Paul kept his promise and made the necessary repairs to get the vehicle inspected and to prevent the check engine light from coming back on. The cost of the repairs were significant and he absorbed this expense. He probably could have gotten the check engine light to stay off long enough to get it inspected, but he didn't do that. He said from the beginning that it was his goal to make every customer happy with his or her purchase, regardless of cost of vehicle being purchased, and we are very happy with our purchase and our daughter now has a quality, safe vehicle to drive thanks to Paul. I read the negative reviews Paul has received before making the purchase. But I don't always believe everything I read. And I'm glad I didn't this time. I can't speak for other buyers. I can only speak from my experience with Paul. He was honest with us from the beginning and kept his promise until the end. If he tells you he will fix something, just be patient with him and he will fix it and you will be happy in the end. I'm now looking for a new vehicle for myself and Paul is the first person I will give a chance to earn my business.
