Played a round of disc golf hers. This is only my second time visiting the park/playing the course. The only reason I dont go more often is because there are a lot of other options that are free and this one costs $5 to park. Very nice park nonetheless.
Super fun place. Trails are nice and easy not too difficult. Lots of other activities as well. Disc golf course..!!! Dogs are allowed
Wonderful walking trails. Some easy some hard. Real mountain bike trails. Good place to walk dog. Play frisbe. Picnic.
Beautiful location with a disc golf course, picnic tables, gorgeous trails. The land is a part of an estate owned by the Ames Family in 1910. With a stone swimming pool (not in use) and a 20 room stone house with manicured lawns and flowers surrounding. Can have cookouts and picnics as well as weddings, but no alcohol is allowed on the premise. Dogs are allowed however!
Always a great clean place to take the kids walking. So much to discover. They have great events like the birds of prey and mansion tours. Good place to walk your dog. I recommend investing into a parking pass since each visit costs $5. They also have a great disc golf course

I'm a fan of the disc golf course at Borderland State Park. It's well marked, with 2 different skill levels for every hole. Parking at Borderland State Park is $2 but it's worth it. There are restrooms available that are at the visitor center area (not portapotties). Also, this is a great place for dog walking.
Borderland State Park has over 20 miles of hiking trails, including a section of the Bay Circuit Trail. There are no less than six ponds to explore. Visitors enjoy the easy three mile pond loop trail which is made up of old farm roads and paths through hay fields. The other park trails range from moderate to difficult hiking.
