Queset House is a perfect example of an English Cottage. I always thought, "mansion," when I mowed its lawns for my grandfather, Thomas Kent. But "cottage" refers to an architectural style, not so much size.

<p>Originally funded by the Ames family and designed in 1877 by famed architect Henry Hobson Richardson, the Ames Free Library has become a historic landmark in North Easton. The original library is now a reading room on the second floor. The library is part of a larger campus that includes the Queset Garden and Queset House.
