I put off joining this gym because I was intimidated, and let me tell you I couldn’t have been more wrong. As others have said everyone is so welcoming and no matter what your fitness level you can do these classes!!! Don’t be like me and wait to join! I wish I joined sooner! There’s a class/classes for everyone and Mary is an absolute great person & teacher!!!
Everything you could look for in a gym. Great trainers and friendly, supportive members. Mary, Janine, and Amy are amazing trainers and provide such great knowledge, support and motivation. The small group sessions are so great for beginners or any level just looking for a small group setting. The regular classes are challenging, in a good way, but manageable at any level you’re at. You really won’t regret joining!!
Striking Beauties is more than a gym! It’s an amazing place to make new friends, every one of the instructors are great, with amazing personalities! It is truly an inspiring atmosphere, there is no judging. Great music to work out to!!
If you feel like you can’t do one of the exercises, they have an alternative one. I will never go to any other gym. Mary and her staff are the BEST!!
Striking beauties Taunton is a very welcoming gym for all fitness levels. The coaches always give ways to modify a move so no one is left out of the workout. They will push you to your limit so you get the most out of your workout. Love this gym because of the owner, coaches and members!
Striking Beauties has helped me to steer away from a strict bodybuilding mindset, and has helped me discover a more appropriate fitness regimen for my body type that is sure to last a lifetime. I started classes there a year ago, and am now six weeks away from doing my first fitness photo shoot! I still get independent weight lifting workouts in at another gym, but Striking Beauties offers classes like Upper Cuts (upper body strength training), Butt and Gut (glutes and abs), etc... along with the Boxing classes. What I love about this gym is that all the classes are strength and conditioning focused, rather than strength and mass building focused. I have lost unwanted bulk since joining, and it is thanks to motivational instructors like Mary, Regina, and Janine.
