(March 17, 2019, 8:38 pm)99 is always reliable for good food, and tonight's boiled dinner (for St. Patrick's Day) was no exception: a generous portion of slices of corned beef, half a cup of diced turnip, two small boiled potatoes, 4 small boiled carrots and a wedge of nicely cooked cabbage, all well-seasoned, but not too salty (which is great, since boiled dinners can easily be too salty). When I ordered a "rusty nail"(Scotch plus drambuie), I was served a "Manhattan" with Jameson's whiskey. Not what I ordered, but acceptable. They had plenty of green beer, for those who wanted it (I did not) and were playing Irish music over the sound system. I would have given 5 stars if not for the drink.
(March 6, 2019, 9:19 pm)Love the 99! I've only been twice and both were at this location. Both times have been great. I thought it was going to be a lower end chain but was pleasantly surprised. The 99 is for sure a go to relaxing and family restaurant. Being from the west I'm happy to see a restaurant of this style.
(February 7, 2019, 1:20 pm)There food is excellent. Just wish they came to Florida. There is plenty of people from Massachusetts in Palm Coast. Please come there. Every time we come up we have to eat here a few times per visit. The gold fever wings are so good.
(January 9, 2019, 7:51 pm)It's a nice cozy place with typical 99 fares.. The service is good and the waiters are there without hovering over you or without missing you.. A fine balance.. The food is good, and they keep switching the seasonal favorites which is nice.
