The Maren Group sold our home in one weekend. It was a whirlwind but they kept us on course before, during and after the sale. We had talked to a few realtors and I could tell right away that Jon and Jen were pros. We trusted them, they were calm and you could tell, very experienced and knew the Andover market.. They gave us great advice as to what we should, and should not, spend money on to fix up our home, they had names for any contractor you can imagine and they all came within one day, and they made the negotiations really easy. Jon was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the process. Initially my wife and I, a real estate lawyer and an architect, thought perhaps we could list as “for sale by owner”… but decided against, and SO GLAD we did. It’s crazy how arcane the sale process is, and we sold two adjoining properties that complicated logistics and conveyances. Jon wasn’t at all concerned by that, and seemed engaged and animated by the challenges. His personal brand of brokering was especially simpatico with my personality. We didn’t always agree, but Jon’s insights were key in decision making. He was strategic and matter of fact in a way that inspired confidence, and just the right amount of hand holding when he felt it was needed. I’d highly recommend him to others looking for the right agent.

Laurie and John sold our house in the most difficult of conditions and made it almost stress-free for us. They worked with us to get the house staged and gave us a great assessment of what it should list for and why. They are both very knowledgeable of the market - they know every house that has sold and how it compares to your house and ensured we all agreed on the listing price.

Once the house was listed they worked with other brokers to bring in a all of the buyers over three days and got feedback from every one of them so could make an informed decision on which offer we should take - negotiating back and forth between buyers on a long weekend. Then they helped us every step of the way through the selling process. We still can’t believe it was that easy to sell our house. We would absolutely use the Maren group again.

In January of 2020 we began searching for our very first home. Needless to say we DID NOT expect not only a pandemic to explode during this search, but the resulting housing market to explode along with it.
