“What an amazing group of people! I was there, unfortunately, to put my aging Dachshund down. We were led into an exam room, and within seconds, the most compassionate, kind, and loving vet I had ever met came in.I don't recall his last name, but his first name, I beleve was George. Dr George encouraged me to take as long as I needed to ready myself and say goodbye to my beloved Frankie. Dr. George never left our side for one second, and was so patient while I shook uncontrollably and cried hysterically. When the time came, I just looked at Dr. George and he did what had to be done. While injecting Frankie, Dr. George apologized to him over and over. What an absolutely wonderful person and doctor he is. I have my suspicions that this was not at all easy for Dr. George as he had an aging Dachshund as well. About a week later, I received the most beautiful card from them and it was signed by every staff member including Dr. George. I just don't have the words to describe how tremendously kind everyone was. I am not ready for another dog and may never be, however should that day come, I would not consider using any other veterinarian hospital except River Road Veterinary Hospital. I will never, ever forget their kind compassion.”
