(October 22, 2019, 4:02 pm)To start, we had an excellent greeting and a big welcome back by the receptionist Janine ! She remembered us from last year ! We got the room we wanted. And their rooms are really clean . Janine helped us find certain restaurants. The fire pit set up is great. Fun way to meet people ! Coffee or tea is ready for you with homemade cookies ! You truly feel at home here. Game room is awesome.We'll be back...again !!!

Everything was clean, the food was great and the staff was extremely friendly. We were sad when it was time to leave. I can see us staying at the Ocean House again in the future for sure. Amy. C

(September 26, 2019, 2:44 pm)I had an amazing stay at this quaint beautiful hotel in Gloucester, Massachusetts. It is an incredible hotel. During the spring, the pool was closed, but the views are just as incredible. Everything about the hotel is incredible. The history is rich and you can find out more information on their website. The rooms were renovated and look fantastic. The breakfast is delicious and is served in the Old Home lobby. The big suite that you see on their website is inside the actual old house that is part of the hotel. They have Bikes you can’t take for a nice scenic bike ride. I really recommend doing that! There is an awesome beach down the road that you can bike to and walk at. It is the perfect distance from the downtown of Gloucester. You feel secluded in your room and feel like you have so much privacy. I woke up one morning and watched the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean and it was surreal. The water crashing upon the rocks is just enough to relax and smooth you, without being overwhelming. This is, all in all, quite the hotel to spend a couple days at to getaway or with you family! Enjoy your stay!

(September 1, 2019, 4:40 pm)Clean rooms. Excellent view. Pool/firepit/hot-tub are all well maintained. Every person I met who worked there went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Excellent staff and I hope the owners treat them well. Local to everything, esp Zeke's which makes the beast breakfast for a reasonable price.

(August 9, 2019, 10:31 am)We just had our 3rd stay here and we love it. When we arrived, our reservation was incorrect. I reserved over the phone and the customer representative I spoke to reserved a room for us on a wildly different date than I gave her, so we had no room when we arrived. The desk attendant was hugely helpful and was able to not only find us a room, but upgraded us to a slightly larger room with no additional cost. We booked another night in September, and this is now solidly an annual trip for us. Awesome spot. Awesome staff.
