“By chance we drove by at time of sunset. It was one of the better sunset over water that we have experienced. Beach is comfortable to walk and clean. At the time of our visit - nobody was in the water. Water would probably be too old to enter. I imagine that this place is meant for locals only. Parking along street (route 127) was marked for resident sticker parking only. Overall a very nice place in my opinion - though the space is not large enough to allow many visitors.”

“Another gem in Cape Ann. They have some great camping sites for tents up to class A vehicles. Super friendly people; from the owners to employees and guests. They have a great camp store on site but it's also close to shops. I owe them some books for their library. I haven't forgotten. Hope I can get back there sometime soon!”

“This was a great spot for a hike with some great higher difficulty trails. Popular spot for rock climbers and boulderers. I knocked off a star because the trails could use much better marking and some managing overgrowth. I lost my trail at least four times and ended up bushwhacking some. Additionally there does not seem to be any sort of map. Thanks to GPS, Google maps, and recognizable rock features I never got truly lost though. The interesting landscape is worth the hassle.”
