(January 26, 2019, 9:51 pm)Wide trails [virtual roads really] and substantial signage greet the visitor at the North Shores version of 4 corners [Hamilton, Wenham, Essex & Manchester]. Throw Gordon College into the mix and there are more than a few authorities having jurisdiction when it comes to dogs. Regardless there is waterfront access to undeveloped ponds and high[ish] forested topography. Plenty of parking opportunities and varied access points.
(December 10, 2018, 1:47 pm)As a former student of Gordon College, I always enjoyed walking in these woods. The trails are kept clean, and they are all clearly marked. It's quite a gorgeous set of woods. On parts that the college owns, they require dogs be on a leash.
(November 15, 2018, 3:37 am)Great trail system. It nice and wide well maintained at most trails. Some parts of the trail system belongs to Gordon college and they require the dogs to be on leash. Less ticks here than other trails around the area. Bikers, runners, dog walkers, snowshoers and cross country skiers use these trails. You can see a variety of wildlife here.

Chebacco Woods An extensive and well maintained trail system goes through evergreen and deciduous woodlands and by two large ponds. The trails wind up and down glacial eskers and connect to others on the Gordon College property.
