    John Greenleaf Whittier Birthplace , well worth the trip for a walk or a tour year-round.
    It's still a working farm with Bees and Cows. One time it had a mill onsite and for transportation close to the Merrimack River.

We visited John Greenleaf Whittier Birthplace in the morning, had lunch at The Barking Dog Ale House, and then visited Buttonwoods Museum and Winnekenni Park & Castle in the afternoon.
