A surprisingly diverse park that surely has special beauty in all seasons. I appreciated the labyrinth of trails with consistent paint splash markings. There are a number of attractive features including a massive granite rock face that towers over the trail. I was also drawn to the giant beaver dam in an expansive marsh, a lazy stretch of the Shawsheen River along the Blue trail and a dark swamp on the back side of the park. It's a great place for dog walking as well as biking and rock climbing.
they have like at least ten trees here & some v big rocks. I saw 2 chipmunks & a lot of cool dogs. people litter here & that makes me sad. please don't make me sad if you go here.
Although entrance had trash on the floor. The hike was very clean looking I went 3 times so far at different times the earlier the better If you don't want to run in to people. If you go closer to afternoon the bugs are out and about nice walk for your leashed dogs. Elevation varies which is a great work out trails are clearly marked. There's bird sanctuary. That has a bench right next to river so you can take a quick rest. You can see beaver population here is also alive and well saw some dams its great place to get fresh air and get in a good walk
The trail head needs to be cleaned more often. Trash everywhere. Good walk and some nice views tho.
If you're looking for amazing views, strenuous long-distance hikes, and exciting rock scrambles, you won't find them here. Instead, what you'll find is an uncrowded, well-kept hike through the woods, perfect for the pups. There is a nice little boardwalk at the pond where you might get a glimpse of a great blue heron. This is a great place for local residents to bring their dogs. Be aware that Mass. law requires that dogs be leashed, and please, please carry out what you bring in. That includes what your dog leaves!
