  Really professional scissor cut. Reminds me of the great old school barbers in the Financial District or Manhattan. Great barber shop!

  Thank you Zach for the "wicked fresh" haircut and professional attitude. Thanks to the staff at Silver Shears for what can only be described as "Southern Hospitality" and A+ customer service from answering the phone and throughout my visit. I'd also like to convey my deepest gratitude for your support of military veterans. Our service was not in vain due to your support.
  If you're looking for a barber shop that takes pride in service and makes you feel welcome "like family", then no there's no convincing necessary to choose Silver Shears.

  There's nothing like a small town barbershop, with friendly stylists telling jokes and enjoying their craft while having fun along the way.

  A haircut is like therapy for me. Some people pay $150 for a shrink, whereas the clean feeling of a good haircut does the trick for me (and saves me a fortune). However, it's only relaxing if I can trust the person holding the blades and know that I'll be happy with the outcome. Out of 15-20 places I've had a haircut in my lifetime, there are only 3 that I recommend. I'm pretty harsh.
  
  Kenny at SS understood exactly what I was looking for on my first visit. It's a great personable group there and they are always staffed appropriately. If you are not picky about who cuts your hair there is rarely a wait. Even better, if you prefer to see someone specific they have the courtesy to let you know if there are others ahead of you so you can estimate the wait time or return later. They don't overlook those little details that improve the overall experience. As another review mentioned, the straightedge razor for sideburns and neck are a lost art at most barber shops.
  
  The space is clean and offers plenty of seating. Prices are very reasonable for the service quality and the staff clearly appreciates their loyal customers. What more can you ask for?
