For many years I have lived with a compromised immune system that manifested its breakdown in a variety of ways — which medical practitioners had only looked at as separate, unrelated conditions. Seven months ago, I began seeing Jin Sung as someone highly recommended to treat my health issues holistically.
Dr. Sung brings to his practice a mind both analytical and intuitive. He never rushes an appointment and always listens carefully. Drawing on extensive lab work (far beyond any ordered by my PCP and yet far less expensive), he has been able to pinpoint specific issues and devise a process by which I can begin to heal: an elimination diet (that has uncovered clear trigger foods), targeted supplements, and a perceptive approach to stress. Today I am no longer continually exhausted and I can handle demanding circumstances with equanimity. At this point my monthly visits have ended, but with great understanding, Dr. Sung has helped me to chart a path toward recovery.
Dr. Jin Sung is compassionate, honest, and knowledgeable. I've felt a great difference in my overall well being since my first visit with him. And I have such a confidence in his abilities that I recommended three other patients to him in under a year. I currently live over an hour away but I don't mind making the trek (even at 7 months pregnant) to receive his care.
I spent 16 years suffering from hypothyroidism with my symptoms getting progressively worse over that time. My thyroid medication was technically working according to my PC as the lab work indicated, but my symptoms just kept getting worse. Finally, I went to Dr. Sung about 2 years ago and under his care, I have seen every one of my symptoms either completely disappear or substantially diminish! I have lots of energy (enough to workout regularly), my debilitating migraines have become controllable, the uncomfortable bloating and gas that I had accepted as being normal for me are gone and my acid reflux has improved so much! Dr. Sung is a true professional and an excellent physician. I suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2014 that left me so debilitated from constant vertigo, dizziness, severe headaches, neck pain, insomnia and a whole host of other issues, it kept me out of work for over a year.
I saw the head of Head Trauma at MGH and was told to rest for a year and was prescribed an anti depressant. In the following year two years after my accident I saw a number of the best physicians in Boston, to no avail and was even told to see someone for therapy because they couldn’t help me. I finally found a wonderful Functional Neurologist who rehabilitated me to almost 60% of my original health before my accident, but I was still plagued by daily dizziness, vertigo, fatigue, nausea and I was honestly quite miserable on a daily basis and felt my quality of life was unacceptable.

He then presents a treatment plan that is individualized. When you arrive for your appointments he is well prepared and has a treatment plan ready for each visit. He goes above and beyond any doctor I have seen to find answers to your health issues and he has trained extensively in numerous fields of medicine to achieve the best results possible.
Dr. Sung is kind, compassionate and truly wants to help every patient to the best of his ability. He found numerous underlying health issues that no other doctor I had seen in four years did. These issues were not allowing me to heal and I am happy to report that in just two months after putting me on a diet, supplement, herbal and homeopathic regimen along with weekly in-office treatments, I have improved more than I could have imagined. I honestly feel that Dr. Sung is saving my life.
