The Newburyport Department of Public Services lifted the Street Parking Ban effective at 7:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Any vehicle parked in a city-controlled municipal lot must be removed within 12-hours so the Department of Public Services can properly clear those lots.

City of Newburyport. · 3 Ocak ·. The Newburyport Department of Public Services (DPS) has declared a Street Parking Ban effective at 12:01 am on Thursday, January 4, 2018, until further notice, due to expected snowfall.
1. Initial request goes to Newburyport Department of Public Services at 978-465-4464 or dps@cityofnewburyport.com. Pictures may be attached. 2. DPS will have the City Electrician go out to conduct a site inspection. 3. The City Electrician will determine if it needs to go to National Grid or not and will forward on if so. 4.
Mayor Donna Holaday, in conjunction with the Newburyport Department of Public Services, has announced the start of the 2015 Roadway and Sidewalk Repair Program. Work on the first phase of the program began during the first week of April. A detailed schedule is being developed for each street and notifications to all affected residents will follow.

The Newburyport Department of Public Services has been exceptionally proactive in regards to the inspection and maintenance of the City's stormwater system structures. The City has as cleaned 900 catch basins month for this permit year. The City has repaired 25 catch basins, replaced 21 9 drain manholes, and replaced 6 drain manholes.
