Great spot for a delicious Italian dinner date! It felt like a real treat, between the atmosphere, the great service, the generous wine pours, and of course the food. The octopus puttanesca beat all expectations, not only was the octopus itself great, but the sauce and gnocchi were A+. The appetizers are on the larger side so the side of us were happy with one. As for entrees, the cacio e pepe pasta was my favorite, but the tuna from the tuna pasta dish was also really tasty. I really wish they had dessert, but at least just that day it was only dessert drinks. Great date spot!

It is a good Italian place - food and service are okay. Wine list is interesting. A little expensive compare to around. But okay restaurant.

We went on our anniversary last night. I’ve never posted a review, but I have to give them props. We had to cancel our dinner the night before and they quickly accommodated us for the next day. Gave us a special table with no wait despite us being a little late. The drinks were unique and food was great. The server was quick and on point. I’d put this food against anything in the north end. Great job all around.

Delicious hearty high quality Italian fair. An owner who is hands on and very attentive. He came to visit when the food arrived to make sure everything was to our liking. A great experience. Pictured are the Angus Shortrib Bolognese, the prime sirloin, the crazy Alfredo and the tenderloin. Everyone loved everything. Not pictured but also devoured was the eggplant Parmesan and arugula and microgreen salad with chicken. Great attentive service. Another new favorite for us in NBPT

I try to come here at least once a week. It works great for me because I love authentic Italian food but like many, I’m lacking in the time it takes to do it right at home. Every time I come, the food is always great. They use fresh ingredients and the owner takes a tremendous amount of pride in everything that gets sent out of the kitchen. It’s truly a labor of love for him I usually sit at the bar so I can get a glimpse of the back end portion of things. They are an extremely clean kitchen staff that seem to adhere to safe food handling practices. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I recommend that you do.
