“I was sure I would not need surgery. I went to PT. I worked at all my exercises and improved my range of motion but the pain did not change. Dr. Banos was patient, explained what surgery involved & that imaging is helpful but you don't always know ahead of time the scope of the problem. I am so happy with the decision to go ahead with surgery. Still doing PT and working on strength but with little to no pain, what a difference! Thank you, Dr. Banos and staff. “To be honest, I had read several reviews prior to seeing Dr. Curtis - especially with waits. The wait was extremely long... over two and a half hours- Even with the long wait, I highly recommend Dr. Curtis- Hopefully, wait times will be resolved but Dr. Curtis was the first Rheumatologist I actually really liked. She was compassionate, knowledgeable and accurately treated me. At the end of the day, I believed she was worth the wait. I have seen at least three other Rheumatologists who were cold, inaccurate and could not properly treat my issues. I do hope they resolve the long wait issues- But I will gladly continue to see Curtis as I believe she is the best rheumatologist I have seen. Two thumbs up for this dedicated doctor!”
