(February 9, 2019, 1:17 pm)So the tumbler went out on our dryer and because the washer was brought elsewhere 6 years ago I was not able to go secure the match as the entity is no longer in business. Nonetheless I decided to give the Home Depot on Route 1 a try.
I walked into the Saugus store and was directed to appliances by a greeter named Bill. To my amazement not only did they have the dryer I was searching for but it was on clearance at almost $800 off the going rate for the newer model coming out. I purchased it was told that the delivery would be extra and the old model would not be taken away. Ok fine by me. As I completed the sale I was told someone would call me with a delivery timeframe for the Saturday I selected.
Here we are Saturday 2/9/19 and no call. I call and explain I’m expecting a delivery today but have not been called about timeframe. I speak with Katie who shares that because my item is coming from the store and not the warehouse my delivery window is between 6A-9P EST. I explained that will not work for me and instead of dismissing me Katie actively problem solved and advised she would have the guys drop it to my home around 11AM.
At 11:20 I got a call from Joe the driver advising he would be arriving in 20-25 minutes. Joe rang my bell 20 minutes later and the rest is successful history. Thanks to Katie the Operations Manager and Joe the delivery gentleman for saving the day.. So glad I decided to give Home Depot a try and definitely would say you should too!!!

(September 21, 2018, 11:00 am)A pretty good home depot. Right off route 1 so its convenient and visible from the street. It seems to be smaller than other locations I've been to which can be a good thing because you don't get lost and it's much easier to navigate around the store. The downside however, is they didn't carry a couple things i was looking for that I've purchased at other locations.
