“This church is open for Sunday services from 9 am through 1 pm nearly every Sunday. A general worship service (called Sacrament Meeting) is held at 9 am. That is followed by Sunday school classes from 10:15 through noon. This same schedule is held in Spanish starting at 10 am (so both English and Spanish speaking congregations overlap from 10 am to noon). English-speaking attendees come from communities from Windham, NH to Andover, MA. Most of the Spanish-speaking attendees are from the Methuen/Lawrence, MA area. You will find either congregation to be very welcoming of visitors. There is a nursery available for young children during the 10:15-noon portion of the meetings. Sunday school classes are split by age, so a visiting family will find it easy to match their kids to other peers. You can also easily leave between meetings--no one will be offended. Parking is free and ample.”

“St Mary's Georgetown has been a great family parish home for us since we moved to Boxford almost two years ago. There is a temporary administrator, rather than a Pastor, but Fr. Dan is an everyday Boston guy like the rest of us, really down to earth and very funny plus an approachable and thoughtful confessor. It took a couple masses to warm up to his style of dry, self-depricating humor, but we truly appreciate him! They are still working out some kinks with scheduling and community with the combination of the Rowley church and Georgetown locations, but the small, close knit community of staff and dedicated parishoners are trying their best and put in a lot of work. The catechism program is strong, as typically seen at the 11am Sunday masses where all the kids sit up front together. When Fr Maurice gives a mass, he always has very heartfelt and thoughtful homilies and Deacon Ray tends to invite all the children to the front. They are a great group! I meet many people in surrounding towns who say, "I went to St. Mary's as a kid!" And I just pray they find their way back because it's a loving place where people truly come as they are to receive Jesus each week. As with anywhere, you get out what you put in, and we are just beginning reap the fruits of our attendance and involvement through deeper faith and relationships here.”

The newly-appointed Pastor Bordanaro, who until last year was the interm pastor, preaches the Word clearly and rightly! The Gospel is in every sermon, and this parishioner knows the God uses Pastor Bordanaro to preach the true Gospel. “This is a close knit church of about 100 people. The Bible is taught at Sunday School for children and grownups alike. The Pastor's are real people. They are admittedly sinners who need a Savior like the rest of the people in the church. The people are very friendly and can't wait to make you feel welcome. They don't run out after church is over but stay and are happy to see their friends they may not have seen during the week. They genuinely act like a big family!! The music is somewhat contemporary with Hymns included. A good mix. They have a children's program on Thursday nights with games and activities, snacks, singing and a lesson. Adults are welcome upstairs to "Life Group" where they discuss the previous Sunday's sermon with questions answered and discussions on how it applies and can be lived out in each other's lives. Nursery care is provided during the Sunday School, Chruch Service and Thrusday night programs. They also have FREE Biblical Counseling available for those struggling with life's issues. A very caring staff.”
