Chester Railway Station & Museum

David opened the museum for us! It was an incredible history lesson, not only for the area but Nationally and world wide!
A must go see & listen.

We stayed in the caboose for two nights of “glamping” over New Years Eve as a family of four (17 & 12 years old.) We had such a blast! There are space heaters (a/c for the hot months), Wi-Fi, and the bunks are surprisingly comfortable. It’s such a neat experience to go back in time to 1919! The caboose is right next to an active railroad so you get to see and hear trains throughout the day/night. It was surprisingly not disruptive even in the sleeping hours. There is a ton of fascinating local history and Dave is incredibly knowledgeable. He’s also super responsive to any questions and/or requests. His German Shepard named Major loves playing fetch with guests! The attached train museum is beautiful and filled with very interesting railway history. Bring sleeping bags, board games, and snacks and you’ll have a blast if this is your kind of thing! Highly recommend for a fun and unique experience.

Visited many times, great history and Dave (owner) is very informative. Recommended for anyone into trains or not. Can learn a whole lot about the history of the area and the railroad just by visiting.

I had the honor of spending two nights in the old caboose. It is an experience that cannot be described, especially considering its location on an active railroad. The museum and its host Dave are very informative and they sell very affordable merchandise. A must visit.

This is not big but small nice good enough railway station.
Here get lift facilities.
Nice tickets window and waiting room as well.
This not over crowded nor less people station.
Taxi of 6/8sitter gets easily outside to station.
