Rock Meadow Conservation Area

Lovely wide open green meadow that serves as an entrance to the Beaverbrook reservation. Dog friendly. Beware of ticks in the warm months.

Rock Meadow is a well hidden gem of a natural park between Belmont and Waltham. It offers several trails in the woods where you feel miles away from civilization. There's varied terrain and you can pick flat or hilly trails, which attracts walkers, runners, and mountain bikers. Enjoy it and don't forget your bug spray in the summer!

Quiet and relaxed during the week. Great place for dogs on leashes, children, nature lovers. Busy on weekends, filled with mountain bike racers and runners. Town's Conservation Commission keeps it in great shape.

Western Greenway trail is beautiful. 11 mile journey to stonehurst estate and back. Good for mountain biking, great for running.

This is my go to place for Mt and cross bikes (and running). The area is a bit small but it has easy access to other trail networks. You can find easy trails or more challenging technical trails.
