Powderly & Sons

Powderly came by last week to install two high pressure regulators, a second water meter, a new main ball valve (coordinated with town & Powderly easily), a water expansion tank, and replaced an old 3 handle shower valve with a single handle pressure balancing anti scold valve & goof plate & clicker drain. Also, they were COVID friendly with masks & distancing.

Everything was installed without any leaks or major issues. The only "issue" we had was that my wife wasn't a fan of the Symmons goof plate so we worked with Jeff Powderly to have a plumber return the following week with a Moen goof plate.

They did a great job and went above and beyond. Nick, the plumber, was professional and made sure that we were satisfied before completing the job. Geniene, the office manager, was extremely helpful in every step of the way as well as Jeff who fielded any questions I had.

They sent a couple of different plumbers out to look at the issue for a quote and the owner himself performed the work. Everyone that came over was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They finished the work faster than quoted and the price was extremely fair.

I’m the least handy person in the world so I’ll be using Powderly and Sons for any future projects.

Highly recommended! Powderly did the plumbing in our house through our GC as it was being built. We called them back when we finished out attic and basement and we are SO impressed by their professionalism, quality of work, value, and their office staff!! Water heater stopped working last night. Called left message. They reached out first thing this morning. A new water heater is now installed. Pricing very reasonable compared to the big business home improvement places. Got a service & parts warranty as well.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! They have a great office manager answering calls. I have had them do two small jobs for me. They could have charged me a ton but only did the work that truly needed to be done. This week I called them last minute and they came next day to remove a toilet for flooring install.
