Great way to enter or exit the Infinite Corridor.
Nice historic place to walk through.
Great intro for potential students including history and admissions in talk. Then student lead tour was great.
Best part is you are free to go almost everywhere in the campus. This gives you a feeling as if you study there.
What can I say that you don't already have a mental picture of MIT is all about. Gothic architecture that symbolizes and alluring of higher learning. Tour guide was a nice young freshmen Mechanical engineering student from Texas. She as very hyper and very excited about the school and fairly knowledgeable about the school. Overall, I would definitely send my kids there if they ever get accepted. I like their first year/Freshmen reporting structure and how they try to get their student accrumated into their school life. Their seems to be a system of support in place for all students. Their endowment is huge. Their funding for projects support sound beyond generous and gives me the comfort that if my kids were to enroll there, they will not be lack of funding. When they earned they degree(s) at the end of their school experienced I'm 100% confidence that they will be be offered a good job with great earning potential. The fact that they're affiliate with Harvard University where the students can take classes at Harvard and transfer directly into their MIT curriculum is a plus. I think it's a great school.
