I am a local Physical Therapist with Direct Access Therapy. I have been treating for roughly 7 years in the Merrimack Valley. I have seen a lot of the local surgeons work and the patients recovery. Dr. Sigman's patients always have the fastest recoveries and best results. His patients heal fast and with less pain with his bovine patch compared to other rotator cuff repairs. Beyond his surgical skills, I always hear great things about his bedside manner and that he is very personable. I recommend him without hesitation to all of my current patients who need shoulder surgery. Put it this way, as the person in healthcare who see's the post op recovery and results of a lot of the surgeries, I would go to Dr. Sigman if I needed shoulder surgery.

Ive been waiting a year to write a review. To see how my shoulder progressed with a newer procedure. I had surgery October of last year. First off I want to say Dr. Sigman and his staff were excellent. I had a tear in my rotator cuff. I got the rotator cuff patch surgery. I had almost full rotation 2 weeks after surgery. The pain was minimal. Full recovery was around 6 months. To this day I have zero pain and full rotation. I’m very pleased with the outcome of this procedure.

I put off having a full knee replacement as it was one of the most frightening options I had for my bone on bone knee pain. Finally I decided to move forward with the surgery. Dr Sigman and his staff were all fantastic from the planning stage and thru post surgery. I was afraid of taking pain killers and the recovery process. Dr Sigman had recommended a few things to prepare for the surgery and to manage the post surgery pain. I had the iovera treatment which must have played a role in my speedy recovery. I only had to take oxycodone (pain med) for 3 days post surgery and then was able to go to Tylenol/Motrin rotation to manage the pain. I was walking with 1 crutch at the 3 week mark! The scar was minimal considering the scope of the surgery. I would never do the surgery with anyone but Dr. Sigman he is simply the best as far as I am concerned!

After a failed repair from another surgeon in another group, I decided to have Dr. Sigman perform the total knee replacement based on my research of the different surgical systems and watching Dr. Sigman's You Tube Video. I felt the Trumatch system was the the most accurate for installing the prosthesis. Dr. Sigman, Christen his NP, and the rest of the staff in the office and Surgical Center were very thorough, professional and overall fantastic. After only 2 weeks I was walking without a cane or a crutch. The incision scar is going to be minimal compared to friends who have had a similar surgery. I couldn't be happier with results and progress returning to normal activities which will be skiing this winter! I am actually looking forward to getting my other knee replaced in the spring.
