Dr. Malis is the most compassionate, caring, authentic, genuine doctor I have ever met. Over 4 years ago he was truly a God sent that was covering for my PCP who left the practice. He wasn't even from my area at all. My PCP always knew something was "wrong" with me but could not figure it out. I was devastated at first when she left. Then I met Dr. Malis. He knew and taught me so much about my health, even though it wasn't what I wanted to hear. He taught me that we don't all fit inside a "box" and what is normal (labs, tests) isn't necessarily "normal" or a standard. He is distinguished in his appearance and humble in his character and demeanor. He NEVER accused me of "faking" my symptoms and delivered me the reality of what the "new me" had become. He was so caring that he checked up on me almost nightly by phone. Years later it was confirmed through Igenex Labs that Dr. Malis KNOWS exactly what he is talking about. He truly listens and without him I don't know where I would be today. My son is seeing him very soon and I am grateful he is still practicing. If only so many other doctors followed in his footsteps and truly engaged in their patients; stopped being so afraid of CDC regulations, and lived by the oath they swore by, so many people would not have to suffer medically to the point of being disabled. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Charles Malis. My 15 year old son used the word "excited" to meet him knowing he helped his mom and believed in me. My son already knows how symptoms are dismissed and the outcome of such ignorance and is truly looking forward to Dr. Malis' input. Dr. Malis I will be giving you a hug. It will be bittersweet seeing you. You also made sure my son and I would be okay in so many ways and told me how "it was gonna be" and to be prepared. You are truly a wonderful human being. Dr Malis is a great doctor. He is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen to you. He also makes sure that you understand everything, and takes his time explaining your test results and issues at hand. I would recommend him to anybody! I have seen a lot of doctors, and he is by far the best.
