Carmel Terrace

Assisted Living was never anything I thought my Mom would consider. And then we all realized how good it would be for her to live in a community where she wouldn’t be alone and with activities she would enjoy. We visited a few places in the area and had her come to the two or three that we thought she’d like. She felt comfortable at Carmel Terrace immediately. As you look at different communities, you can get a feel - will your family member feel comfortable? Would you be comfortable visiting and spending time there? We could definitely picture her there and we were right. And there are many activities we have attended, too - it was so clear to us that every person who works there really cares for the residents. We are fortunate to have Carmel so nearby.

My first visit was upon my grandmother's 100th birthday and her party was held there in one reception rooms. All I can say that I am very impressed with how the Carmelite Sister's keep the assisted living guests incorporated into the Carmelite spirituality. Very impressed.
