  We really liked Johnson's. Sorry we were just passing through and do not live closer. My wife's scallops were very fresh and delicious and reasonably priced.
  
  These days so many places use packaged previously frozen onion rings. Here they advertised fresh ones that my wife and I shared. They may have been best that I have ever had. Not salty or greasy. Very crisp lightly breaded, hot from the fryer. My mushroom burger was fine and inexpensive.
  
  The main claim to fame appears to be an amazing variety of ice cream, frozen yogurt and sherbet flavors made on the premises with a large array of possible toppings. My 3 flavor cone was huge and tasty. My wife's coffee ice cream sundae was called small but that's certainly not the way she described it. She liked the strong coffee flavor.
  
  It's an informal place where you order at the counter; they make it fresh and bring it to your table.

  Quite simply the best breakfast foods I’ve had anywhere. The grilled muffins are spectacular. The pancakes are delicious and crispy around the edges (not fluffy), which is exactly how I like ‘em. The eggs Benedict are beyond compare. I can’t say enough. Definitely a go to for great food.

  It's Johnson's.... Always good and fast. Great little spot in Groton for a quick bite.

  Johnson's had awesome burgers and frappes. Love stopping by this place whenever I'm near by for a quick and cheap meal.

  A small town classic! This is where you bring a five year old, their siblings, scout troop, baseball team, etc. to for ice cream! I did all this and more as a kid, coming back as an adult was filled with pills of delightful nostalgia at it is essentially unchanged and awesome. The ice cream is still delicious, the setting is still rustic. The only thing changed? Me. It turns out that the pepper rings that 5 year old me thought were disgusting, are actually really, really delicious!
