I have been here for only 1 school year (the current one), but I already know how awesome this place is. My only complaint can be summed up easily: TOO MANY MEMES!!! But other than that, it's great!!!
Amazing place with caring teachers and staff. Individualized instruction.
There are many things to love about the Tremont School. The project based curriculum allows students to study a subject in depth. The multidisciplinary way of exploring and learning about a topic allows students to really excel in the subjects they are passionate about. The teachers are also amazing at keeping the students on track in the subjects they might struggle with. Every aspect of the school, from the academics, the methods of discipline, the extra curricular activities, the parent involvement, is designed to help build the students' self confidence, critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, and executive functioning skills. The skills that will serve them for a lifetime. If I could design a dream school for my children, Tremont would be it. My daughter is in her third year and it is the perfect place for her. Our family is so grateful to have found such as wonderful school full of dedicated, bright and energetic teachers and administrative staff.
Tremont is an incredible school that s unlike any other we have come across. Our 2 boys (Grades 5 &7) love the project-based curriculum, allowing them to dive deep into subjects and understand the real-world relevance of what they are learning. With very small class sizes and low student/teacher ratio, Tremont is able to provide individualized instruction that has allowed both of our boys to thrive academically. Also, Tremont puts a strong emphasis on social and emotional skills, which are valued as highly as academics. I m not sure you ll find a more talented or dedicated faculty anywhere. These teachers are so special in their ability to embrace the whole child, to connect with many different kinds of learners, and to truly listen and care about each student s perspective. Tremont is a warm, accepting, and welcoming community where our boys have made wonderful friends and feel safe and supported. Our boys participate most days in Tremont s popular after-school program, where they have taken outdoor survival, theater, robotics, ski club, Aikido, rock band, newspaper, yoga, role playing and more! Can t say enough about Tremont and how lucky we feel to have found it for our family!
